Vintage jewellery box and certificates
Many of our customers are interested in the packaging in which our jewellery is sold and whether it comes with certificates or documents of authenticity and origin.
The whole is important
When buying vintage jewellery, the focus is naturally on the jewellery itself and its unique story. But many of our customers are also interested in the certificates and boxes. Packaging is particularly important when buying vintage jewellery as a gift.
Whether the jewellery is a gift for yourself or a loved one, the whole makes a difference. The whole is made up of the documents and packaging of the jewellery or watch and, if desired, the gift wrapping.
NEW JEWELLERY cases
For every vintage jewellery piece, there is a new and beautiful box to match. All our new boxes are white with the HOLMASTO logo printed in gold. The inside is padded, so that the jewellery can travel with its new owner.
The box is also useful for other purposes than carrying the jewellery. Jewellery should be stored in its own box or in one of the larger jewellery boxes. This prevents them from rubbing against each other and scratching unnecessarily. The box also protects the jewellery from dust during storage.
VINTAGE CASE
Original vintage boxes have a real atmosphere! These are sadly rarely preserved or intact. When the original box is preserved and specially designed for the jewellery in question, it accompanies the jewellery as part of its story. However, if the buyer wants a new box, one can of course be included. You can never have too many beautiful jewellery boxes!
BRANDED CASE AND PAPERS
Sometimes, especially with branded products, the original box or case is included. These are usually the most famous brands: Rolex, Cartier, Omega, Breitling, Chopard, Tiffany, etc.
Some products also come with their own original manufacturer’s certificate. In the absence of such a document, the authenticity of the product is verified, for example, by the brand’s own authorised brand service. It is important to us that we only sell and buy genuine branded products.
DOCUMENTS
Most of the jewellery we sell is certified by a gemmologist. The certificate includes a statement on the authenticity, size and quality of the stones, as well as the insurance value. If the jewellery does not have a gemmologist’s certificate, it is possible to obtain one from us if you wish.
The watches are accompanied by a recent maintenance paper, either the one that came with the watch when you bought it or the one that Holmasto ordered. All watches are working and running on time, unless otherwise stated. A serviced watch has a one-year service guarantee.
With each purchase you will receive a receipt showing the item, the material of the item and any jewels. If you have any questions about your purchase later, we are available every weekday and Saturday at our store at Aleksanterinkatu 50. We warmly welcome you!
PACKAGING
A gift for yourself or someone else is crowned with a wrapping that invites you to open it. Opening the ribbon and unfolding the paper will heighten the excitement as step by step you get closer to revealing the surprise. Giving and receiving a gift is sure to bring back happy memories for us all.
We use gold or red gift paper and a gift string in the shades of Holmaston. The look of the package is completed by a Holmasto bag, which we ourselves are particularly pleased with. We want to offer our customers the best!
When a jewellery box or watch box is wrapped in gift paper and placed in a paper bag decorated with gold letters, giving and receiving a gift is an inspiring and memorable experience.
