Evaluation of jewelry

Holmasto offers expert valuation services in the heart of Helsinki at Aleksanterinkatu 50. If you are thinking of selling your jewellery, we will make you a great offer. We also appraise jewellery for insurance companies and private individuals. We also offer certificates of authenticity and insurance certificates for rings and other valuable jewellery. Holmasto has been serving its customers reliably since 1949.

BUYING AND SELLING JEWELLERY

We buy gold, silver and precious jewellery on a daily basis and our prices are always based at least on the world market price of gold and silver. In addition, the condition of the jewellery, the gemstones, the brand and the possible need for restoration influence the final quote. For larger and more valuable pieces of jewellery, we can also accept commission sales, where we handle the sale on your behalf and pay the agreed amount to you once the item has been sold.

PREPARE FOR THE VALUATION

When you bring your jewellery in for valuation, it’s a good idea to bring all possible documentation, such as purchase receipts, certificates of authenticity and cases. Good documentation can increase the value of your item and make the appraisal process easier.

In our shop, it is often possible to get an appraisal on weekdays while you wait, and you do not need to make an appointment. You can visit our shop during opening hours.
